2015年3月16日,中国石油天然气集团公司总经理廖永远涉嫌严重违纪违法接受组织调查。廖永远任中国石油天然气集团公司总经理、党组成员、董事、教授级高级工程师,在中国石油天然气行业拥有逾30年的工作经验。在中石油腐败窝案爆发后,廖永远曾多次对中央的反腐行动表态。讽刺的是,昔日在台上大肆唱反腐调子的他,如今却因涉嫌严重违纪违法接受组织调查。
