我国历史悠久,古代劳动人民在生产技术上积累了丰富的优秀遗产,因此对古代的铁器进行金相考查以发掘当时在冶金及热处理技术中的辉煌成就自有重大的意义。 从数十件战国及两汉时代钢铁器试样的金相检查,我们可以自豪地指出,我国勤劳智慧的人民在冶金及热处理的生产技术上确实步列世界的前锋。兹举其重要的如次:
