自七十年代中期以SmCo_5和含铜Sm_2Co_(17)系为主的烧结磁性材料生产技术问世以来,制品的应用范围不断扩大,并在此基础上研制成功了利用上述合金粉末制取树脂结合型磁性材料的工艺。稀土类钻系磁性材料投放市场十余年来,发展较快,成效显著,性能不断提高,应用范围逐渐扩大;目前可以生产(BH)_(max)值超过2387.4×10~2T·A/m的高性能磁性材料,且产量已超过阿尔尼科铝镍钴系磁性材料。由于这种材料广泛用于医疗器件、通讯元件、精密机械、音响部件等,从而大大促进了器件向小型轻量化方向的发展。
