润扬长江公路大桥是江苏省“四纵四横四联”的公路主骨架和跨长江通道的重要组成部分,北自扬州南绕城公路起,跨经长江世业洲,南迄于312国道,北联同江至三亚国道主干线,南接上海至成都国道主干线。工程全长35.66公里,由北接线、北汊斜拉桥、世业洲高架桥、南汊悬索桥、南接线和南接线延伸段6个部分组成。其中南汊主桥为主跨长1490米的单孔双铰钢箱梁悬索桥,北汊主桥
