中国的绘画艺术如同中国的其他国粹一样,有其对于传统艺术形式的继承性。借古人之形,言今人之意依然是现在画家们的一条艺术创作思路。艺术最根本的生命力在于它是否植根于现实生活,是否把握了时代脉搏,反映了时代精神。真正优秀的艺术家应该是随着时代的发展变化而相应地创作出与之相适应的艺术形式。刘子久用东方人深刻的美学思想,弘扬中国的传统文化,用自己的绘画作品体现出对祖国和民族命运的关心。
