Langston Hughes is the twentieth Century American literary giant, as a laureate poet, he wrote a lot of poetry to reflect the working class of black and proud of their own black identity. Hughes is equally concerned about black women and has created a large number of poems for this purpose. In his poetry, Hughes not only expressed his views on the issue of American race, but also gave deep sympathy to black women. Through the exploration of the issue of black women in Hughes’ 40s poetry, we can draw his return to the artistic perspective, reflecting that his art is becoming more and more mature.
