Enhance Crisis Awareness and Protect Lake of Life Strengthen Multi-party Cooperation and Promote Harmonious Development Poyang Lake is China’s largest freshwater lake and one of the two remaining rivers and lakes flowing through the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River. As the largest freshwater lake wetland in Asia and the overwintering land for important migratory birds, Poyang Lake plays an important role in biodiversity conservation and flood control of the Yangtze River. It is of worldwide significance in the field of ecological environment. In addition, Poyang Lake Basin accounted for 97% of the area of Jiangxi Province, Jiangxi and even China’s economy
