2013年初,湖南江华瑶族自治县人民政府常务会议决定:启动申报“中国观赏石之乡”工作。为确保申报工作进展顺利,以便争取县里相关领导、单位的支持,帮助他们了解全国石事动态和中国观赏石协会的工作重点,征订中国观赏石协会会刊《宝藏》就显得十分重要。这个光荣任务最后落到了江华观赏石协会常务副会长唐东明的身上。通过与《宝藏》杂志社联系,唐东明自掏腰包,当年一下子就订了20套,被杂志社委任为江华通联站站长。他将杂志免费发放给县里的相关单位
