美国应用语言学家克拉申认为,人们掌握某一种语言所通过的方式主要有两种:一种是习得(acquisition),另外一种是学习(learning)。习得是指学习者通过与外界的交流活动,激活人脑中的语言学习能力,无意识地吸收到该种语言;学习是指有意识地研究并且往往在教师的指导下来获取某种语言(一般指母语之外的第二语言)的过程。那么,如何运用语言习得规律来指导外语学习,调动学习者的主观能动性呢?
Krashen, an applied linguist in the United States, believes that there are mainly two ways in which people can master a certain language: one is acquisition and the other is learning. Learning refers to the learner through the exchange with the outside world to activate the ability of language learning in the human brain, unconsciously absorbed into the language; learning refers to the conscious study and often under the guidance of the teacher to obtain a language (usually refers to Second language other than mother tongue). So, how to use the law of language acquisition to guide foreign language learning, to mobilize the learners' subjective initiative?
