“新稻1号”是根据新疆的地理和气候特点,以及广大稻农的需要,采用辐射与杂交相结合的方法育成的水稻新品种。1976年用“宁系62-3”作母本,“盘锦1号”作父本,进行杂交。F_3代干种子用~(60)Co-γ射线186.9Gy 照射。突变体经多年选育,于1986年10月通过新疆维吾尔自治区农作物品种审定委员会审定,定名“新稻1号”,准予在全区推广。“新稻1号”的主要性状:幼苗直立,耐寒、抗病,生活力强。植株紧凑,株高73—90厘米。在中等肥力条件下,单株分蘖2—3个。成穗率80%以上。灌浆速度快,抽穗整齐,主穗长15—16厘米。每穗70—80粒,结实率82—95%,千粒重25—27克。籽粒呈椭圆形,护颖呈黄色,无芒。有垩白的粒数占10.3%,垩白面积仅占4.9%。糙米率82%,精米率71%,整精米率高达68.8%。蛋白质含量8.72%。
“Xintao 1” is a new rice variety bred by the combination of radiation and hybridization according to the geographical and climatic characteristics of Xinjiang and the needs of rice farmers. Chalky grains accounted for 10.3%, chalky area accounted for only 4.9%. Brown rice rate of 82%, milled rice rate of 71%, milled rice rate as high as 68.8%. Protein content of 8.72%.
