京选8号(原系号1397-Ⅲ)是从智利引入的优良品种欧柔中系统选育而成的。1974年开始参加所内品种比较试验,折合亩产638.3斤,较北京15号增产10.2%,1975年品此试验,折合亩产723.7斤,略低于农大139。同年在海淀区东升公社试验站试种八分地,折合亩产893斤。表现早熟(与北京15号相仿)、千粒重高,较抗干热风。在昌平县十三陵公社涧头大队试种,表现返青快、苗旺、分蘖多、抗寒,在品此试验中产量最高。在河北省武清
