本文介绍了作者用WAT202B摄像头、Bt812图像采集卡、ADSP21020开发/高速处理板和配备了CLGD5428真彩色显示卡的微机构成的一台通信终端。通过一个64kbit/s的信道模拟器能实现两台通信终端之间的通信,从而实现了一个全双工的桌面图像通信系统,在64kbit/s的速率上能够实现每秒3~4帧的QCIF格式图像的通信,图像质量良好。由于DSP是完全可编程的器件,故本系统为算法研究和通信协议的修改提供了很好的实验平台,也为军事工业的专用图像通信系统提供了一个范例
