隐喻作为一种特殊的语言现象,被广泛地应用于英语科技语篇中。本文旨在通过分析英语科技语篇中的概念隐喻,从而揭示其在英语科技语篇中的功能,认清概念隐喻的类型,提高英语科技语篇的写作及其理解能力。
Metaphor as a special linguistic phenomenon has been widely used in English scientific discourse. The purpose of this paper is to reveal the function of conceptual metaphors in English science and technology discourse, to find out the types of conceptual metaphors and to improve the writing and understanding of English science and technology texts.
