中国电机工程学会火电专业委员会金属分专业委员会正式成立,于一九八二年十二月六日至九日在江西省九江市召开了第一次会议。会议根据金属工作的情况,为更好的开展各项学术活动,经讨论决定金属分专业委员会下设六个专业学组:金相,无损检测,金属化学,强度与断裂,金属耐磨材料与磨损,金属材料工程。金属分专业委员会的办事机构设在西安热工研究所金属室。会议还讨论制定了1983年学术活动计划 China Electro-Mechanical Engineering Society thermal power professional committee set up the metal sub-committee, in December 6, 1982 to nine in Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province held its first meeting.
