江西新余钢铁厂属的良山铁矿太平山矿体为中厚缓倾斜顶盘多数稳固仅局部欠稳固的难采矿体。从1980年2月以来,良山铁矿和江西冶金学院受江西省科委和冶金厅的委托,共同组织了采矿法研究试验组,在太平山矿体进行了锚杆予控顶中深孔房柱法开采试验,如今获得了较好的技术经济效果,如:采场生产能力可达260吨/日,比原用的浅眼房柱和竖分段空埸法分别提高一倍半多和一倍,矿石损失和贫化率分别为14%和13%,比竖分段空场法相应低11~16%和10~13%,矿石开采直接成本为5.72元/吨,比浅眼房柱法和竖分段空场法分别低0.78元/吨和1.41元/吨。这充分说明,这种采矿法是开采顶板局部欠稳的中厚矿体的一种有效采矿法。今后它将在良山铁矿生产中逐步推广应用。
