DTS公司从过去到今天,在家庭影院技术方面一直以来都与杜比公司抗衡。DTS:X是DTS公司在2015年3月份所发布的三维音效技术,目的也是很明显的,DTS希望通过DTS:X在电影音效进入三维音效时期占有一席之地。在技术上,DTS:X主要采用旗下SRS公司推出的MDA平台(多维度音效平台)开发而来。DTS:X与Dolby Atmos一样引入了“Object Base”的实现方式,扬声器的数量不受限制,甚至连扬声器的摆位同样不受限制,完全可根据不同的应用环境而进行灵活的变化,从而在相应环境下得到最佳的音效。
