不同力学性质岩层的内摩擦角不同,使它们的剪裂角不同,在同样力学条件下形成的断层是由许多倾角有差别的小断面折线状连接构成的断裂带,这种现象被称为断层折射。因此,断裂带两侧不同部位的岩层接触紧密程度有差异(可分为5类:挤压的,承载的,滑动的,微张开的,张开的),导致不同部位断面封闭性的差异(根据断层运动方式和受力情况,定性分为5类:良好,好,较好,较差,差)。认为生长断层封闭性与其位移速率及被错移的岩层岩性有关,生长指数越大越有利于断层封闭;正断层发生反转后,断面封闭性得到加强。图4参10(王孝陵摘
