A brief introduction to “Jane Eyre” Charlotte Bronte, author of Jane Eyre, was born in Thornton, Yorkshire. His father, Bronte, was a weird and very abusive pastor who had written Some religious genres of poems and prose, but no features. In 1820 the Charlotte family moved to Haworth in Yorkshire, a lonely, boring village full of swamps. Shortly after her removal, Mrs. Bronte left. To take care of the children, her sister came to Haworth and stayed in a parish house, but her sisters did not have much impact. Children are highly independent and interact with each other
