棉花黄萎病是棉花的主要病害之一,对生产的威胁很大。迄今,仍以选育抗病品种为主要防治措施。为了筛选抗病或耐病品种,采用人工接种或自然诱发的田间鉴定的常规方法需要的时间长,且工作量大。为寻找简便、快速,准确的检测棉花抗病性的方法,先在室内用黄萎病菌代谢物——毒素对大量棉花育种材料进行抗病性初选,然后将初选材料再参加田间抗病性鉴定。这样,既可节省田间的工作量,又可达到加快抗病育种进程的目的。
