众所周知,高速磨削具有提高生产效率、降低砂轮消耗、改善表面光洁度等优点,因此,得到越来越广泛的应用。然而对于带肩胛的零件,若采用高速磨削加工其端面时,则容易产生烧伤,往往出现这样的情况:磨外圆时砂轮的磨削性能还很好,但靠磨端面时,却过早地产生烧伤,而需要重新修整砂轮。因而妨碍了高速磨削效率的充分发挥。为此,我们在第二砂轮厂、第四砂轮厂和上海砂轮厂等兄弟单位的大力支持下,对产生端面烧伤的原因和解决端面烧伤的途径进行了初步试验。现将试验情况整理如下:
