2009年6月2号,教育部召开“我爱我的祖国”主题教育活动视频会议。出席会议的教育部部长周济在讲话中指出,在各级各类学校开展“我爱我的祖国”主题教育活动是中央开展群众性爱国主义教育活动的重要组成部分,是加强和改进广大学生思想道德教育的重要举措,是当前教育系统一项十分重要的工作。各地各校一定要从全局和战略的高度充分认识开展主题教育活动的极端重要性,把主题教育活动作为深入学习实践科学发展观活动的重要内容,作为参与国庆活动的重要组成部分,作为推进社会主义核心价值体系建设的有力抓手,以强烈的责任感、使命感积极主动地做好各项工作。
