《当代中国的金融事业》将要同广大读者见面了。这是由中共中央书记处决定、中国社会科学出版社出版《当代中国》大型丛书中的一卷,是新中国成立后第一部全面系统地记述当代中国金融事业发展历程的科学史册。《当代中国的金融事业》由中国人民银行特邀顾问尚明同志主编。全书分为绪论、第一编、第二编和结束语四个部分,总共50万字,附有彩色照片135幅、插图44幅。陈云同志为本书作了“光辉业绩”的题词,陈慕华同志写了序言。《当代中国的金融事业》的绪论,除了记述新中国建立前金融业的历史沿革、中国人民银行的创建之外,还向读者介绍中国古代的货币和金融机构,展示了中国各族人民在古代创造的丰富多彩、具有东方特色的货币文化。
“Contemporary China’s Financial Business” will have to meet with the readers. This was decided by the CPC Central Committee’s Secretariat. Comrade Chen Yun made a brilliant performance for this book, with the inscription written by Comrade Chen Muhua. In addition to describing the historical evolution of the former financial industry in China and the creation of the People’s Bank of China, the preface to “The Financial Cause in Present-day China” also introduces the readers to the ancient monetary and financial institutions in China and shows the Chinese people of all nationalities in ancient China Created rich and colorful, with the Oriental characteristics of the currency culture.
