用运输机在空中发射战略弹道导弹,好像有点匪夷所思。不过,俄罗斯正在进行的一项利用运输机发射运载火箭的研究,却很快引起了各国军事专家的关注,因为这种方式同样适用于弹道导弹发射。从空中发射战略弹道导弹既是躲避战略核打击的最佳手段之一,也是应对弹道导弹防御的有效方法。人们之所以对这种貌似和平应用的研究计划心存戒心,主要是因为无论苏联还是美国,都曾研究过这种空基型弹道导弹。
With strategic airborne launch of strategic ballistic missiles, it seems a little bizarre. However, an ongoing Russian study of the use of transport aircraft to launch launch vehicles quickly aroused the attention of military experts from all countries, as this approach is equally applicable to ballistic missile launches. Launching strategic ballistic missiles from the air is not only one of the best ways to avoid strategic nuclear strikes but also an effective way to deal with ballistic missile defenses. The reason why people are wary of this seemingly peaceful application of the research project is mainly because neither the Soviet Union nor the United States have studied this space-based ballistic missile.
