一件件发生在我们身边的记者流血事件,让许多人对舆论监督产生了深深的忧虑:记者为什么会挨打?记者的权力到底有多大?保护记者的合法权益已成为新世纪的焦急呼唤。 记者挨打:舆论监督引发的悲哀 众所周知,记者的职业因其能及时、有效地揭露丑恶、伸张正义而显得无比神圣而崇高,他们的工作得到全社会的认同与尊重。但也正因为如此,也使得记者经常受到社会邪恶势力的打击和迫害,有时甚至付出生命的代价。 2000年11月22日,河北邯郸电视台3名记者前往某村采访一村民,调查前任支部书记不给该村民上户的事情。结果该书记引来数十位村民包围了他们,殴打他们并扣录像带,还叫嚣“谁来参加围攻就给谁20块钱”。3名记者多处受伤,躲进村委会大院4个多小时,直到几名干警赶到才得以脱身。 2000年记者被打最为惨烈的一幕发生在广州。
