From its source, the emergence of the currency unit “Yuan” was related to the inflow of foreign silver dollars during the Qing Dynasty. “Yuan ” as the “Circle ” pass the word gradually passed, until the establishment of the People’s Bank of China, the currency on the text has been “round ” “yuan ” co-exist. After the founding of People’s Republic of China, the first four sets of renminbi were all marked with the word “Yuan”, the fifth set of RMB notes was marked with “Yuan”, while the hard Yuan was used with the word “Yuan”. In practical application, the frequency of “yuan ” is much higher than “circle ”. As a unit of RMB, there should be a uniform standard. Related with the “silver dollar - silver round ” “dollar - dollar round ” and other forms of writing should also be standardized.
