一20世纪40年代,位于西安的国立西北大学为了方便校内穆斯林学生的就餐而设立了清真灶。为了管理清真灶而成立了“回民同学会”。“回民同学会”是由穆斯林大学生组成的学生团体,有理事数人,来自甘肃张家川(今甘肃张家川回族自治县)的法律系学生马通被推选为理事长。马通和中文系高年级的学生冯虚(冯增烈,1926—1996)等人,创办了一份旨在弘扬民族文化、介绍穆斯林生活习俗与伊斯兰教的刊物——《新录》。该刊为不定期刊物,办刊经费依赖穆斯林学生的捐助,经费十分困难。1949停刊,前后出版四期。主
