Morrow said: “I only believe what I can’t see or touch.” American poetess Dickinson also said: “I can’t see it, see it more.” They believe in their inner illusions. The symbolism that began to prevail in Europe at the end of the 19th century was very different from the principles of the coexistence of the realistic style of impressionism. The symbolist school emphasizes feelings, opposes rationality, focuses on subjectivity, and neglects objectiveness. It adopts symbolic and symbolic means to express dreams, nights, and illnesses. It even eulogizes death and artistically pursues the absurd realm of style. During the development period of the symbolism movement in Paris, the most influential were Gustave Mollo, Pivis de Chavannes, and Odillon Reydon, as well as Norway’s Munch and others. It can be said that starting from the symbolist school, the modern world art really began. --editor
