It has been 75 years since the detoxification of cobalt salts in rabbits and dogs for cyanide. Although Meurice proved the detoxification effect of cobalt salts in 1900, the use of cobalt salts as an antidote decreased. This article reports the combined use of cobalt chloride and sodium nitrite
