1986年10月10日,经国务院批准,国家语言文字工作委员会重新发布了《简化字总表》,它对纠正社会用字的混乱现象,引导群众正确使用规范简化字起了重要作用。实际工作中,人们在查阅和使用《简化字总表》的时候,往往只注意对照表里收列的简化字与繁体字,而忽略了还有56条注解,结果造成了写错用错简化字的情形.而这些注解作为《简化字总表》不可分割的重要组成部分,它所提示和说明的,恰好是我们在使用简化字时可能遇到疑难或产生错误的地方,对我们正确使用简化字具有实际指导作用.
