福建政和农場,是山区的一个小場。这个場只有一千零九亩地,倒有一千多口人,而且这里一年三涝两旱,天灾兽害十分严重。在农垦战线来說,論規模确实是够小的了,論人口密度确实是够大的了,論自然条件也确实是够差的了。但是,就在这地少人多、山穷水恶、办場八年国家沒有投資的情况下,他們硬是把人的因素摆在第一位,把困难踩在脚底下,与天奋斗,与地奋斗,消取了旱涝雹兽四害,終于把这穷山恶水改造成肥沃良田,取得了巨大的成就。
