本州车业集团是一家独资民营企业。随着中国大陆改革开放的春风,集团总裁兼董事长童国斌先生积极投身于商海大潮之中,早先创办了以生产中高档羊毛衫专业生产厂,并发展成台州地区最大羊毛衫生产厂。1995年,为适应过内市场发展需要,充分利用台州地区生产踏板车得天独厚的优势,童国斌先生毅然开发了摩托车、发动机、电动车的生产项目,经过几年不懈努力,现已发展成年产摩托车20万辆、发动机30万台、电动自行车15万辆的国家二级企业。
