勃利县红星林场是以过伐林为主的林场,如何经营利用好过伐林,关系到合理利用森林资源,提高林分质量,实现永续经营。过伐林的分布、特点、林分类型是确定经营技术的依据,也是当前生产上急待解决的问题,现提出初步意见,供生产时参考。过伐林的分布与特点红星林场的过伐林主要分布在交通不便的边缘地带或跳石塘、陡坡、山脊不便采伐的地方。交通较方便的地方,由于破坏较重(多次采伐、火燃等原因),则分布以杨、桦为主的天然次生林。红星林场过伐林主要有以下几方面特点: 1、“拨大毛”形成了过伐林相。日伪时期多次采好留坏,由于破坏性采伐形成了现存的残破林相。外观上,远看森林一片,近看高矮不等,林相杂乱。2、该场山上部由于当初破坏轻,后来没有继续破坏,现已初步恢复较好的林相,
