近几年来,我国高等学校实验室有了很大的发展,世界银行第一批贷款引进的仪器设备已经开始发挥效用。为了提高实验室的管理水平,为我国社会主义“四化”建设多出人才,多出成果,根据1983年在上海召开的大学实验室和技术管理专题国际学术讨论会主席、复旦大学校长谢希德教授和澳大利亚科学院院长贝尔奇(A.J.Birch)教授的建议,1985年6月原教育部组织了两个考察组,分别赴联邦德国,英、美和澳大利亚考察,现将这两组的考察报告(本刊略有删改)发表如下。
