In this study, 12 patients with severe alveolar stomatitis (otnture stomatitis) were examined using a utrerasoft micrleradiagraphy and histological sections. Live specimens were taken from the buccal alveolar ridge of the second upper premolar area; the control specimen was taken from the mandibular triangular area. There are 10 alveolar mucosa without keratinization in the 12 specimens studied. All cases had epithelial cell layers on the X-ray
