2007年8月2日,一支俄罗斯考察队进行了俄罗斯历史上最大胆的北冰洋水下考察。考察队成员包括俄罗斯国家杜马副主席阿尔图尔·奇林加罗夫和杜马议员格鲁兹杰夫等3名政府要员。在北极厚厚的冰盖上,考察队凿开了一个长25米、宽10米的洞口,放下了2艘载人深潜器:“和平一号”和“和平二号”。“和平一号”率先抵达深达4261米的北冰洋海底,在黄色沙砾构成的海床上插上了一面高1米的钛合金俄罗斯国旗,并留下一个密封舱,里面有考察队和国家杜马给后人的信件。寒冷的北冰洋最近突然成了俄罗斯与西方新的冲突点。
On August 2, 2007, a Russian expedition carried out the boldest Arctic underwater survey in Russian history. The expedition consists of three government officials, such as Artur Chillingarov, Vice-Chairman of the State Duma of Russia and Duma member Gruzjev. On the thick ice sheet of the Arctic, the expedition opened a hole 25 meters long and 10 meters wide and dropped 2 manned submersibles: “Peace One” and “Peace II” . “Peace One ” took the lead in reaching the bottom of the Arctic Ocean at a depth of 4,261 meters, inserted a 1-meter-high titanium Russian flag on the sea bed made of yellow gravel and left a sealed cabin with expeditions and countries Duma to posterity letters. The cold Arctic Ocean has suddenly become a new point of conflict between Russia and the West.
