班级是学校进行教学管理工作的基本单位。班主任是班集体的主要教育者、组织者、领导者,是学校领导进行教学管理的得力助手和骨干力量,是联系班级任课教师的纽带,是沟通学校教育、家庭教育和社会教育的桥梁。班主任工作是学校工作的重要组成部分,它的好坏,直接影响着学校工作的正常开展,也影响着班级每个学生德、智、体、美、劳等各方面的发展。只有这样,学校的教学工作才能朝着健康、稳定、成熟的方向发展,学校也才能培养出合格的社会主义建设者和接班人。
