We must perfect the institutional mechanisms to form a new type of urban-rural relationship between workers and peasants that promotes agriculture by industry, urbanization by cities, mutual benefit of workers and peasants, and enables the broad masses of peasants to participate in the process of modernization with equal participation and share the fruits of modernization. At present, the reform and development of urban-rural integration in our country has entered a new stage of advancing in depth, tackling major breakthroughs and upgrading as a whole. It is also facing the problem of how to further enhance the level of agricultural modernization and how to improve the living environment for peasants.
