Based on the theory of equivalence, translation can be possible between different languages and cultures. However, many problems and setbacks are derived during the process of translation for the uniqueness of language and culture. And case studies focus on the problems of translatability in linguistic equivalence, specifically at vocabulary or lexical, idiomatic, grammar-syntactical, and discourse levels. It is expected that this thesis, through the analysis of these dissimilarities, makes us have a deeper understanding of the limit of translatability so as to push forward the intercultural communication to a higher level.
