横向项目的最大特点是贴近实际、贴近市场需求,这与高职院校培养社会所需的高级技能型人才的办学目标是一致的,与高职院校服务地方经济发展的职能也是相吻合的。高职院校可将开展横向研究纳入学院整体规划,以横向项目的开展作为切入点,带动学院的整体发展。
