项目管理作为一门新兴管理学科,越来越受到业界广泛的关注,同时项目管理也被越来越广泛地应用在现代企业中。国内外项目管理专家学者提出的项目管理理论、企业项目管理理论、项目挣值管理等方法为成功实施项目管理提供了指导和帮助。随着企业内部项目的不断增多,对于企业高层管理者来说,如何管理多个项目,如何保证项目符合企业战略的要求,成为项目管理领域新的研究课题。近年来,国外的一些项目管理领域专家提出了项目组合管理的概念(Project Portfolio Management)。
