邢宥(1416～1481),字克宽,号湄丘,海南文昌人。邢宥少时聪明异常,10岁作《勉学诗》,14岁补文邑生员。正统六年(1441年),参加乡试中举。正统十三年(1448年)登二甲进士,开始在刑部任职,第二年晋升为四川道监察御史。景泰初年,他参加处理宦官王振党案,督通州粮实宣府,获得较高的政声。 景泰二年(1451年)冬,邢宥出巡福建,巡海官抓捕犯禁入海的几十民众,诬为海盗而判死罪,临斩时痛哭呼冤叫屈,震天动地。邢宥疑为冤案,力主缓期执行。后经多方访查,终于抓到真正的盗匪,拯救了几十民众的性命。
