早在1879年,英国著名化学家布鲁斯就发现牛奶上层乳清中存在一种黄绿色的荧光色素。科学家试用各种方法提取,试图发现其化学本质,都没有成功。直到1933年,美国科学家哥尔倍格等从1000多千克牛奶中得到18毫克这种物质,后来人们因为其分子式上有一个核糖醇,将其命名为核黄素。
As early as 1879, Bruce, a famous British chemist, found a yellow-green fluorescent pigment in milk whey. Scientists try various methods to extract, trying to find out its chemical nature, have not been successful. Until 1933, the American scientist Gotberger and others got 18 milligrams of this substance from more than 1,000 kilograms of milk, and later people named it riboflavin because of its molecular formula of an arabitol.
