君子兰,为石蒜科,其植株俊秀文雅,有君子风姿,花如兰,因而得名。君子兰以其端庄大方之美深受人们的喜爱。其中,花园君子兰花朵弧状微垂,叶片狭长鲜绿,亭亭玉立;垂笑君子兰花朵如金钟倒挂,高雅肃穆;大花君子兰花团似绣球,剑叶宽厚,飘然坦荡。长春则是中国君子兰的发祥地,到如今已有六十多年的群众养兰历史。1984年10月11日,经长春市第八届人大常委会第二卫次会议审议通过,命名君子兰为长春市市花。而一年一度的长春君子兰节,也使得人们能与各类珍贵君子兰亲密接触。

Changchun is the birthplace of China’s Clivia, and now has more than sixty years of people’s history. October 11, 1984, by the eighth session of the Standing Committee of the Eighth National People’s Congress examined and adopted Changchun City, named Clivia. The annual Changchun Clivia Festival, also makes people with all kinds of precious Clivia intimate contact.
