2006年,北方最大的建安集团北京建工在《北京建工报》开辟专栏,连篇累牍地讨论湖南建工创造了什么,向湖南建工学习什么,怎样学等问题。山西建工集团也在其刊物上发表了许多学习湖南建工的心得文章。这是这两大集团从湖南参观访问回去后,掀起向湖南建工集团学习热潮的表现。他们特别提到湖南六建,对于湖南六建从1995年以来取得的成绩,他们觉得“不可思议”!其实,湖南六建的名字在三湘大地几乎家喻户晓。仅在长沙,他们承建的项目星罗棋布。在建的河西大学城内“阳光100”、城南未来政务中心“长沙奥林匹克花园”、城北四方坪“科大佳园”……这都是长沙市内的顶级楼盘。往上追溯,长沙火车站、贺龙体育中心、长沙黄花国际机场……这些重大公共设施项目也出自湖南六建之手。而今,又传来湖南六建奇迹般的在六年获得七项“鲁班奖”的消息,震动整个行业。许多人在感慨:“湖南六建真是个好公司!”湖南六建凭什么让业内业外这么“崇拜”?它“好”在哪呢?带着这些疑问,记者访问了该公司董事长叶新平先生。
