During this period, we planned a special project entitled “Review of the 2013 World’s Best Film Festival”. After repeated deliberation and debate, we finally selected 20 films and selected the standard for humanity. Among the annual best films in my mind, one of the Japanese films, The Library War, was not selected because it is only a good piece of film by our standards. It just tells a good story of human nature: Not far from Japan in the near future, in order to ameliorate the chaotic and decadent social atmosphere, the Japanese government promulgated the “Law on the Improvement of Media,” and set up special departments “Media Efforts Team ” to seize and destroy all books that may affect the physical and mental health of the world. At the same time, freedom of expression has also been grossly contained and suppressed. To defend the idea of freedom, an organization named “Library Self-Defense Organization Book Team” came into being, many of whom gave their lives in order to protect their books by taking up arms.
