忠县特殊教育学校创办于1991年秋,原名忠县聋哑学校,招收适龄听障儿童接受九年义务教育。2008年5月,学校搬迁至忠州街道郑公村罗洋路,同年秋季开始招收适龄智障儿童,同时,学校更名为忠县特殊教育学校。2013年秋,学校启动智障儿童的学前教育招生工作,现有听障和智障孩子215名。学校环境优美,设备先进,文化氛围浓厚,是残疾孩子温馨的生活家园和舒适的学习乐园。
Zhongxian Special Education School was founded in the autumn of 1991, formerly Zhongxian deaf-mute school, recruit hearing-impaired children receive nine years of compulsory education. In May 2008, the school relocated to Luo Yang Road, Zhenggong Village, Chungju Street. In the fall of the same year, children of the right age were enrolled. At the same time, the school was renamed as Zhongxian Special Education School. In the autumn of 2013, the school started enrollment in pre-school education for mentally retarded children, and there were 215 children with hearing and intellectual disabilities. The school has a beautiful environment, advanced equipment and a strong cultural atmosphere. It is a warm home for children with disabilities and a comfortable learning paradise.
