为人后者要为所后者服斩衰,这是过继的一般原则。但是,如果在宗子去世一段时间之后,再确定过继的人选,那么相应的斩衰服的起始点应该从何时算起,却成了礼学中争论的问题。对于过继晚造成的税服问题大致有三说:以所后者亡月为始说,以为人后者出后日为始说,阙疑说。本文试图通过梳理不同的观点及展开问题的复杂性,揭示不同观点背后的礼学依据,并返回《丧服》经传本文,对于三说进行裁断。
