采用随机、双盲法对特发性突聋病例进行了微波辐射与单纯药物治疗效果的比较,从而对微波的疗效作出重新的评价。结果表明微波治疗组的有效率为8181%,听力达实用水平者为5454%;而药物治疗组的有效率为2727%,两组间有极显著差异(P<0001)。对发病后2周以上、2个月以内的患者,药物组中无1例听力有任何程度的恢复;而在微波组的6例中,有3例听力有不同程度的恢复,其中有2例竟恢复到实用水平以内。资料还表明年龄的大小对治疗的效果影响不明显,在50~75岁与7~49岁两年龄亚组的比较中,其间并无显著差异(P<005)。然而,在微波与药物治疗两组间相比,其间差异显著(P<001)。结果表明微波对特发性聋的疗效较药物治疗优越。作者在以前实验结果的基础上认为微波治聋的特点在于其能量集中,能穿透组织达一定深度。因此,对耳辐射时能在内耳发生直接的生物效应,其作用机制是改善内耳微循环的血流,提高血管纹红细胞的充盈
