党的八大关于走具有中国特色的工业化道路的思想,对武汉工业建设有着十分重要的指导意义。武汉市集中全市人力、物力、财力支援国家重点工程建设,把建立国家工业与发展地方工业结合起来,开展技术革命,超额完成“一五”计划,制定调整并基本完成“二五”工业计划,先后建成青山、关山等13个工业区,逐步形成冶金、通用机械、化工等13个工业专业生产体系和冶金、机械制造、纺织三大支柱产业,把武汉建成为全国重要的工业基地之一。
The thinking of the 8th CPC National Congress on taking the industrialization road with Chinese characteristics has very important guiding significance for the industrial construction in Wuhan. Wuhan City concentrated its efforts on the construction of key state projects of manpower, material and financial resources in the whole city, combined the establishment of state industries with the development of local industries, carried out technological revolution, over-fulfilled the “First Five-Year Plan” and formulated, readjusted and basically completed the “Second Five-Year Plan” The project has successively established 13 industrial parks including Qingshan and Guanshan and gradually formed 13 industrial specialized production systems of metallurgy, general machinery and chemical industry and three pillar industries of metallurgy, machinery manufacturing and textile, and established Wuhan as one of the important industrial bases nationwide.
