随着我国经济建设的蓬勃发展,城乡企业的构成发生了很大变化,小型企业所占比重呈上升趋势。大批小型企业的崛起固然是件好事,但是在其发展过程中也逐步暴露出一些问题,如企业经营管理不善,制造假、冒、伪、劣产品,资源和能源浪费严重,工人生命安全和健康没有保障,内部分配很不合理,短期行为严重等。要解决这些问题,除了加强小型企业的宏观管理和建立健全相关政策体系和法规体系外,还必须重视社会主义小型企业家的培训。这是保证小型企业沿着社会主义道路健康发展的关键所在。
